Cyber 1: Introduction into the World of Cybersecurity

What to Expect: While we see the outcomes from lack of cybersecurity in the news via breaches, many don’t know the full scope of the exciting world of cybersecurity! The Introduction into the World of Cybersecurity summer camp experience promises to expose participants to exciting hands-on activities by top industry professionals in ethical hacking, digital forensics, and open source investigation. Participants will discuss industry requirements, and explore the possibilities of choosing a career in cybersecurity. Activities will also include a field trip to the Cyber Security Operations Center at Northrop Grumman Corporation.

Cyber 2: Exploring Challenges in Cybersecurity

What to Expect: Exploring the challenges of modern cybersecurity builds on what students learn in Cyber 1. This course workshop explores the challenges that programmers are faced with in a rapidly changing, highly volatile environment. This hands on course, challenges students to apply what they have learned into practical applications.

All students must have taken Cyber 1 to enroll in Cyber 2.

Cyber 3: Advanced Cybersecurity Game Design/Development

What to Expect: Advanced Cybersecurity is the logical step to take your understanding and skill of cybersecurity to the next level. In this week-long course, students learn about topics in web application security, exploitation, cryptography, and others. Completion of Cyber 1/2 is required and programming experience in C++, Java, Javascript, Python and/or PHP is highly recommended as prerequisites to this next level course.

What to Expect: Learn how to create your own website this summer with our Web Development summer program! In Web Development, students will learn how to build their own mobile friendly, responsive website. Students will learn how to use HTML, CSS, and Javascript, by the end students will have the tools in toolbelt to be able to build their own websites!

This class can be taken multiple times.  Repeating courses takes students deeper into the material builds their understanding, competency and skill.
